I’m proud of a new development I never saw coming: 

Going to the movies by myself and feeling totally at ease and content about that.

Before coming here, I had never done that and would even wince at the idea. I think cities bring out the strong and independent version of me - or maybe it’s the city’s strong and independent personality that is projecting itself onto me. I’m not yet sure.  

*Addendum* After thinking about this more…. my mind just responded with: “Nahhhh, you’re just that bored.”
